Real Madrid football club president Ramon Calderon has denied a Spanish newspaper report he rigged last month's annual general assembly vote.

The newspaper claimed Calderon stacked the annual general assembly with a significant number of fake delegates in order to get the club's fiscal accounts and electoral assembly members approved.

The defending Spanish champion's director for members Luis Barcena said Real will open a probe into the report.
