The Australian cyclist Robbie McEwan got off to a winning start despite the focus being on the return of seven times Tour de France champion Lance Armstrong.
McEwan, a three-times winner of the Tour de France's green jersey for sprinters who's cycling for the new Russian Katusha team, won the Cancer Council Classic in Adelaide in just over an hour.
