British government pours emergency money into London Olympic's projects

The British government has released hundreds of millions of pounds of contingency funds to keep two key projects on track for the 2012 London Olympics.

The Olympic Village and the International Broadcast and Media Centre both had their funding suffocated by the worsening credit crisis.

The government says 461 million pounds ($NZ1.2 billion) will be injected into the two projects.
