The Australian Open tennis championship is over for New Zealand number one Marina Erakovic.
She has followed up her second round singles exit with a straight sets loss in the first round of the doubles.
Erakovic and her Croatian partner, Jelena Kostanic Tosic have been defeated 6-2, 6-2 by Czechoslovakia's Lucie Safarova and Kazakhstan's Galina Voskoboeva.
Safarova beat Erakovic in three sets in the singles.
