The owners of the English Premier League side Liverpool have been in talks to sell the football club to a billionaire from Kuwait.
Tom Hicks and George Gillet, both American business men, have owned the club since early 2007.
The BBC says takeover talks, led by Hicks, have been held with Nasser Al-Kharafi - who almost bought the club last year.
