Oceania to kick off Beach Football qualifiers in Tahiti in May

The Oceania FIFA Beach soccer qualifier will be held in Tahiti in May.

Fiji, New Zealand, Tahiti and Solomon Islands will compete - with the winner representing Oceania at the annual Beach Soccer World Cup in Dubai in November.

There were no qualifying rounds last year.

Solomon Islands has represented Oceania at the Worlds the past three years.

However, pressure from Oceania teams has forced qualifications for this year.
