The big name encounters begin on the second day of the America's Cup style sailing regatta which gets underway in Auckland on Friday.
The draw last night for the Louis Vuitton Pacific Series sees Team New Zealand and BMW Oracle meet on the second day, as do the America's Cup holder Alinghi, and the past cup finalist Luna Rossa.
The most high powered of the four races due for the opening day sees Luna Rossa face the British outfit Team Origin, while Team New Zealand will sail a BMW Oracle boat in its opening race against Damiani Italia.
Ten teams will race for a fortnight using the four America's Cup boats of Team New Zealand and BMW Oracle, in what is the first big competitive gathering of Cup teams since the 2007 regatta in Valencia.
