India hold off Sri Lanka

India has held off Sri Lanka in the second cricket one-day international in Sri Lanka, to win by 15 runs.

The home side were bowled out for 241 in 49.2 overs while chasing the tourists target of 256 at Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium.

Sri Lankan batsman Thilina Kamdamby scored 93 not out in the losing effort.

Yuvraj Singh was the mainstay of the Indian batting effort with 66, while Ishant Sharma took 4 for 57 with the ball.
