Nocera takes NZ Women's Open

The French golfer Gwladys Nocera has won the inaugural New Zealand Women's Open at the Clearwater Course in Christchurch by six shots.

The European number one fired a final round three under par 69 to finish on eight-under.

The Korean Bobea Park and Australian Katherine Hull finished tied for second in the $150,000 event on three-under.

The overnight leader Sarah Oh of Australia had a horror final round of eight over par 80 to finish in a share of fourth.

The 14-year-old Aucklander Cecilia Cho was the top performing New Zealander, finishing tied for 14th on plus-five.
