The Sharks have come from behind to beat the Stormers 20 - 15 in a Super 14 rugby game in Cape Town.
The Stormers led 10-0 at the break but the visitors came back with 20 unanswered points before a late try to the home side made a game of it right to the final whistle.
The victory gave one of the pre-tournament favourites a perfect start to the tournament while the Stormers suffered their fourth consecutive defeat against their rivals.
