White Ferns need to rid errors

The New Zealand women's cricket team says they need to focus on ridding the errors from their own game in today's ICC World Cup match against the West Indies in Sydney.

The White Ferns beat hosts and defending champions Australia by 13 runs in their opening match on Sunday and will play a largely unknown Caribbean side at the Bankstown Oval.

Captain Haidee Tiffen, who'll miss today's match through injury, says while her side will be overwhelming favourites there's still a lot for the side to work on despite their opening round win.

She says they will need to bowl in the right channels and build big partnerships with the bat to ensure victory.
