Landis considers return to Tour de France

The disgraced cyclist Floyd Landis is trying to decide whether to follow fellow American Lance Armstrong's example and ride again in the Tour de France.

Landis is the first rider to be stripped of a Tour victory and has served a two-year ban after failing a doping test and says he'll decide soon whether to take aim at the 2010 Tour.

He's continued to denied any wrongdoing and spent much of the last two years trying to prove his innocence.

Landis is upbeat about his return to cycling in last month's Tour of California, especially after undergoing a hip-resurfacing procedure to eliminate pain that had plagued him since a training accident in 2002.
