The All Black prop Tony Woodock has been named in the Blues Super 14 rugby team to play the Chiefs in Hamilton on Saturday night.

He was a late withdrawal for last weekend's match against the Cheetahs because of an ear infection.

Woodcock is still being monitored but coach Pat Lam is optimistic about his chances of playing.
