The South African and England cricket boards have confirmed they've been approached about hosting the Indian Premier Twenty20 league which is due to start on the 10th of next month in India.
The Indian Board has been forced to play the month-long series abroad because it coincides with India's general elections and the government isn't in a position to provide security for the league.
The IPL commissioner Lalit Modi said four possible venues were being considered to host the 8-team tournament, and he hopes the matter will be sorted out within the next 24 hours.
