The Warriors have had a disastrous night at Mt Smart Stadium, going down to the Brisbane Broncos 26-10 and also losing star back Brent Tate for the rest of the National Rugby League season season.
The Broncos scored five tries in the first 55 minutes to race away to a 26-0 lead which silenced the near capacity crowd of 24,000.
Tate has an ACL knee injury and is out for the season.
