English premier league football side Hull have submitted their case to the Football Association regarding allegations that assistant manager Brian Horton was spat at by Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas.

Hull's case relates to the aftermath of their 2-1 loss to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in an FA Cup quarter-final.

Manager Phil Brown is adamant he saw the Spanish midfielder, who was out injured and didn't play but came on after full-time to celebrate with his team-mates, spit towards Horton in the tunnel.

Both Arsenal and Fabregas may be contacted for their observations before the FA decide whether to take the matter any further.
