The Wallabies flanker Wycliff Palu has been given a suspended sentence after being caught driving without a valid licence for the second time in two years.
The New South Wales Waratahs star appeared in a Sydney court after police caught him driving with a suspended licence in January.
The 26-year-old was placed on an 18-month good behaviour bond, fined more than $1000, and warned he faced a jail term if he offended again.
The Waratahs manager Chris Webb says Palu understands the seriousness of the offence and deeply regrets his serious error in judgement.
