ANZ netball officials have dismissed an Australian claim that the competition leaders, Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic may have breached the salary cap.
The Queensland Firebirds coach and former Australian captain Vicki Wilson suspects the Magic's ability to field a shadow Silver Ferns yet remain under the $300,000 salary cap.
But the general manager of competition Anthony Everard say the Magic's books were in order when they were audited last year, and he says third party payments are allowed.
