The Queensland Firebirds have beaten the Central Pulse 58-46 in their round 3 ANZ trans-Tasman netball Championship match in Wellington.
The visitors led throughout to score their first ever victory in New Zealand and their first win of the new season.
The Firebirds led by 7 after the first quarter, 10 at half time and three-quarter-time and then extended it to 12 by the final whistle.
The Pulse, who are yet to win a match in the competition, were guilty of failing to turn their possession into goals with too many turnovers.
