Cardiff beat Gloucester in Anglo Welsh Cup final

Former All Black Ben Blair has starred as a dominant Cardiff Blues swept past English side Gloucester 50-12 to win the Anglo-Welsh Cup final at Twickenham.

Blair scored two tries in a personal tally of 25 points.

Three first half tries set the Blues on their way to securing the trophy and a third victory of the season over Gloucester after beating them twice in the Heineken Cup.

Four New Zealanders were in teh Cardiff side. Jason Spice started at halfback but was inujured after 11 minutes.

Paul Tito and Xavier Rush were both ion the Cardiff pack.

The win keeps Cardiff on course for a double this season.

The Blues face Premiership leaders Leicester in the Heineken Cup semi-finals on May 3.
