Dario Franchitti has won race two of 2009 IndyCar Series, taking out the Long Beach Grand Prix in California.
Franchitti, who started from second on the grid, held off pole-getter Will Power by more than three seconds for his ninth career win, and first in a street-race.
Franchitti's team-mate at Target Chip Ganassi, New Zealander Scott Dixon, could only manage 15th place.
Dixon, the defending series champion, is 17th in the overall season standings which are headed by Franchitti.
