The Wellington Phoenix will play home games in Palmerston North and Christchurch when this year's when football's Australian A-league gets underway in August.
The draw announced today sees the Phoenix play Newcastle Jets away in their opening match with their first home game in Wellington is against Perth Glory.
The competition has been expanded to ten teams with newcomers the North Queensland Fury and Gold Coast United.
However the Pre Season cup tournament has been scrapped due to financial constraints, with the starting date for the regular season being brought forward to August the 6th.
