The Castres rugby halfback Sebastien Tillous-Borde looks likely to miss France's tour of Australia and New Zealand after suffering a serious knee injury.

Tillous-Borde, who has four caps, was hurt in the first half his team's 21-16 French Top 14 league defeat to Stade Francais on Friday and will be sidelined for at least five weeks.

France will face the All Blacks in Dunedin on June 13 and in Wellington on June 20 before tackling the Wallabies in Sydney on June 27.

Meanwhile the Ireland halfback Tomas O'Leary will miss the British and Irish Lions tour of South Africa this year after sustaining a fractured ankle.

O'Leary was carried off on a stretcher in the first half of his province Munster's Magners League victory over Llanelli Scarlets in Cork and will also miss the remainder of Munster's Heineken Cup defence.
