The All Blacks halfback Piri Weepu has again been named on the bench for the Hurricanes, as the Super 14 competition leaders play the Blues in Wellington on Friday night.
Weepu came off the bench in the last round win over the ACT Brumbies, having missed the past couple of matches with a hamstring injury, but coach Colin Cooper has stuck with Alby Matthewson in the starting lineup.
Lock Jason Eaton returns to the starting lineup after being dropped to the reserves for the Brumbies game.
Tamati Ellison moves to fullback for the injured Corey Jane, with Zac Guildford filling Ellison's spot on the wing.
