Manawatu have scored just their second win of the National Basketball League, beating Auckland 83-81 in Auckland.
It is the Jets' first win over Auckland in five years.
Marcel Jones hit a game-high 34 points for Manawatu, while Casey Frank hit 27 for Auckland.
Both sides have two wins and are above just the winless Taranaki side in the standings.
