The All Whites captain Ryan Nelsen is unlikely to play in Blackburn Rovers final English Premiership match against West Bromwich Albion this weekend.
Nelsen, Rovers captain, limped out of last weekend's loss to Chelsea with a calf injury and boss Sam Alladyce doesn't expect him to be fit in time.
Nelsen will lead the All Whites at next month's Confederations Cup in South Africa.
