New Zealanders Kate McIlroy and Callum Millward have scored breakthrough victories at the
Pan American Cup triathlon at Austin in Texas.
It's the first win in a fledgling triathlon career for the former mountain running world champion and Commonwealth Games steeplechaser McIlroy, who was 45 seconds clear of the American Hayley Peirsol.
Millward beat the American Kevin Collington with another New Zealander, Martin van Barneveld, third.
