The former Silver Ferns star Temepara George has told the national selectors she is available for international netball again after a two-year break.

The 33 -year-old midcourter played the last of her 59 Tests in the Ferns' losing tour of England in 2007.

She then withdrew from the team a few months before the world championships in Auckland to move to Australia to join her former partner Sione Faumuina.

George returned to Auckland last year and captains the Northern Mystics in the trans-Tasman championship.

The Silver Ferns squad will be named in July after the ANZ Championship and there'll be trials for the Test side in mid-August.
