The Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney will this week hold face-to-face talks with new manager David Moyes over his future at Old Trafford.
Moyes officially started his job today, taking over from Sir Alex ferguson, who resigned in May after 26 years in charge.
Rooney's future has been the subject of debate ever since Ferguson claimed that the England international made a verbal transfer request last season.
Rooney played under Moyes at Everton before a 53 million dollar switch to United in 2004.
The pair, along with Rooney's agent Paul Stretford, will meet this week.
