Team New Zealand finally got the wind it had been waiting for and produced another good day on the Marseille MedCup yachting regatta in Southern France.
The New Zealanders had a first and two seconds to consolidated their position at the top of the leader board, 10 points clear of second-placed Matador of Argentina.
Team manager Grant Dalton says they've been waiting for a day like today with some strong winds ever since they launched NZL 380 in February.
Dalton says every boat in the fleet is fast in these conditions and so crew work counts.... he says it shows with a crew like theirs, who know each other well, know the combinations and know the calls.
