Holders lose Chatham Cup shootout

East Coast Bays' defence of the Chatham Cup is over after losing a dramatic penalty shootout 7-6 to Manurewa in the third round of the football competition.

Goalkeeper Albon Houston was the hero for Manurewa, saving two spot kicks to send his team into the fourth round after neither side could find the net during normal time.
