Flutey gets start against Western Province

Rikki Flutey gets his first start for the British and Irish Lions against Western Province.

Flutey, a former NZ Maori representative, will play at second five eighth. Hec ame off the bench against the Sharks mid week.

Lions head coach Ian McGeechan says Flutery gets a start after proving his fitness against the Sharks.

The Lions will be captained against Western Province by Phil Vickery. The team is a completly changed side to that which played the Sharks.

McGeechan say the test team will not be selected till after the game againsth the Southern Kings on Tuesday.
