Some 1,800 extra temporary seats will be added to Westpac Stadium in Wellington for the Bledisloe Cup rugby test between the All Blacks and Australia next month.
Ticket sales have surged over 34,000 with the match set to be a sell-out.
The extra seats will take the capacity to 38,000.
