The Blues forward Kane Barrett has been cited for a second incident of alleged foul play during their Super Rugby loss to the Chiefs in Auckland last night.
Barrett was shown a red card for trampling Chiefs co-captain Craig Clarke in the 22nd minute of the match, which the Blues lost 26-16.
A review of match footage by the citing commissioner revealed another incident of trampling involving Barrett, in the 20th minute, not seen by matchday officials.
A SANZAR statement says the 23-year-old made contact with Chiefs prop Ben Tameifuna, which warranted a red card.
