Brazil's double Olympic champion Torben Grael has skippered the Swedish yacht Ericsson 4 to overall victory in the 2009-2010 edition of the Volvo around-the-world race.
VO70 came in third in the penultimate stage between the Swedish port of Marstrand and Sandham near Stockholm.
It can't be caught after winning five of the nine stages since the race started at Alicante in October.
The American yacht Puma Ocean Racing crossed just ahead of the other Swedish entry, Ericsson 3.
There's an in-port race at Stockholm on Sunday before the last stage from the Swedish capital to St Petersburg in Russia.
