Some bad luck for New Zealand footballer Marco Rojas, who faces a race to be fit for the start of the new German Bundesliga season next month after breaking a bone in his foot playing for his new side VfB Stuttgart.
The 21-year-old Rojas suffered the injury after scoring on his Stuttgart debut last week and is expected to be out for four to six weeks.
Rojas, who was voted the A-League's player of the year and young player of the year last season, left Melbourne Victory on a free transfer in April.
Last season's German Cup finalists Stuttgart open their Bundesliga season at Mainz on August the 11th.
