Laumape to replace injured Fisiiahi for the Warriors

The rookie wing Ngani Laumape has been named to replace the injured Glen Fisiiahi for the Warriors' NRL clash against the Melbourne Storm in Auckland on Sunday.

Fisiiahi's season ended when it was determined he'd require surgery on his injured pectoral muscle.

Laumape will make his ninth appearance in the only change to the Warriors line-up from the team that beat the Tigers at Leichardt Oval on Friday.

Melbourne will be boosted by the return of their State of Origin stars, Cameron Smith, Billy Slater, Cooper Cronk and Ryan Hoffman.

Warriors: Kevin Locke, Ngani Laumape, Dane Nielsen, Konrad Hurrell, Manu Vatuvei, Thomas Leuluai, Shaun Johnson, Sam Rapira, Nathan Friend, Ben Matulino, Feleti Mateo, Simon Mannering (c), Elijah Taylor.
