New Zealand has earned a top-10 finish in the open water team race at the FINA Swimming World Championships in Barcelona.

The three-strong team of Kane Radford, Phillip Ryan and Cara Baker was 10th in the five-kilometre race in Vell Harbour, more than three minutes behind the winners, Germany.
