The Hurricanes halfback TJ Perenara has been included in the All Black training squad in Auckland this week.
The Chiefs players aren't involved as they prepare for Saturday's Super Rugby final against the ACT Brumbies in Hamilton.
The squad also includes the Blues prop Charlie Faumuina, who missed most of the Super Rugby season through injury and Richie McCaw who has returned from his sabbatical.
The forwards in the training squad are Dane Coles, Andrew Hore, Keven Mealamu, Wyatt Crockett, Charlie Faumuina, Ben Franks, Owen Franks, Tony Woodcock, Luke Romano, Jeremy Thrush, Samuel Whitelock, Steven Luatua, Richie McCaw, Kieran Read, Brad Shields, Matt Todd and Victor Vito.
The backs are TJ Perenara, Aaron Smith, Piri Weepu, Beauden Barrett, Daniel Carter, Ma'a Nonu, Rene Ranger, Francis Saili, Conrad Smith, Israel Dagg, Charles Piutau, Julian Savea and Ben Smith.
The camp is for two days on Wednesday and Thursday with the squad for the Rugby Championship to be named next Sunday.
