The All Black winger Cory Jane has returned to training following a serious knee injury and has stated he wants to be back playing by early October.
Jane has tweeted that he started what he calls his eight-week training programme and it all went well.
Jane suffered knee ligament damage in a Hurricanes pre-season match in late January.
He says he wants to be back playing on October 5th for Wellington's NPC match against Auckland.
If he makes that date he could play a couple of provincial matches and may be considered for the All Blacks' end of year tour.
