The former Kiwis international Dene Halatau is returning to the Wests Tigers National Rugby League club after four years with the Canterbury Bulldogs.
Halatau will re-join the club he left in 2009 on a two-year deal.
Halatau, who played 128 games for the Tigers and was part of their 2005 premiership-winning team, spent seven years at the club.
The Tigers chief executive Grant Mayer says the 30-year-old's signing was more than just about football, believing his experience and leadership as a senior player will be invaluable for some of the club's younger players.
