Masaga doubtful starter in Super final

The Chiefs winger Lelia Masaga is a doubtful starter for Saturday night's Super Rugby final against the ACT Brumbies in Hamilton.

Masaga, who scored a crucial try in his side's 20-19 semi-final win over the Crusasders, suffered an ankle injury in the match and coach Dave Rennie rates him only a 50-50 chance of playing.

Captain Craig Clark also took a limited part in training because of a neck injury but Rennie is confident he'll be fit to play.

Meanwhile the All Blacks winger Cory Jane has returned to training following a serious knee injury and has stated he wants to be back playing by early October.

He hopes to be back playing for Wellington in their NPC match against Auckland on October 5th.
