Tall Blacks win again

The New Zealand men's basketball team has maintained its unbeaten record at the 4-team tournament in China, beating a local side 67-61.

Captain Mika Vukona was again a huge influence through the final stages and he scored a team-high 15 points.

The result was New Zealand's third straight win, as they prepare for next month's FIBA Oceania Championship series against Australia.

The Tall Blacks lost Breakers star Tom Abercrombie with an ankle injury early in the game.

The four teams now move to a new city, with the Tall Blacks next playing Cameroon on Friday night.
