The Australia under-20 football international Reece Caira is joining the Wellington Phoenix, leaving A-League side the Western Sydney Wanderers to gain more game time.
A left back or centre midfielder, 20-year-old Caira managed just two appearances for newcomers the Wanderers last season.
Prior to that Caira spent three years getting a grounding with English Premier League club Aston Villa.
Caira is joining the Phoenix on a two-year deal.
