World heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko retained his IBF and WBO titles after stopping challenger Ruslan Chagaev with a tenth-round technical knock-out.
Chagaev, the WBA heavyweight 'champion in recess' was no match for the might of Klitschko who lived up to his Dr Steelhammer nickname to put the challenger on the canvas as early as the second round.
It was Chagaev's first defeat of his professional career in 27 fights and, with a heavy cut above his left eye, he was unable to come out for the start of the tenth round as the referee called a halt to the fight.
