The defending NRL champions Melbourne Storm left no-one in any doubt about their bid to retain the title with a 68-4 thumping yesterday of the Raiders in Canberra.
Written off by some after four losses from five games during the taxing State of Origin series, the Storm inflicted on the Raiders the biggest loss in their history.
It was a setback for the Raiders who're in the thick of the battle for a top-8 finish, in 7th place on the ladder.
The Storm have a monster match coming up in Melbourne on Friday night against the co-leaders South Sydney.
The 9th placed Warriors go to Sydney this week to play 3rd-placed Manly.
