Junior women's quad in final

The New Zealand junior women's quadruple scull will line up in the medal final after placing second behind Germany in their semi-final race at the junior world rowing championship regatta in Lithuania.

The women's quad are safely through to the 'A' final after being in the top half of the field throughout the 2000 metre race.

The finals for New Zealand begin Sunday with the women's four, men's coxed four and the women's quad.

The men's quadruple scull is the only crew left to qualify for a final and have a semi-final to race on Sunday.
