The Warriors coach Matthew Elliott says his side was beaten by a better side as they missed another chance to climb into the top eight of the National Rugby League.
The Warriors were beaten 27-12 by Manly to remain 10th in the standings, two points out of the top eight.
Elliott says Manly executed better than them and they were beaten by a smarter side although his players did go away from the game plan a few times.
Elliott says he still has the belief that they can win enough of their remaining four matches to qualify for the play-offs.
The Roosters top the standings from Souths, Manly and Melbourne.
The Warriors play Penrith next weekend.
