Fourth Ashes test in the balance

1:30 pm on 12 August 2013

The fourth Ashes cricket test in Durham is evenly balanced after three days.

The day's highlight was Ian Bell's third century of the series, an unbeaten 105, in England's second innings of 234 for five, a lead of 202 runs.

Australia's bid to share the series has become even tougher through an injury affecting all rounder Shane Watson's hip and groin, and he didn't return once he left the field only nine balls into his second bowling spell.

Australia had started the day on 222 for five, but they lost their last five wickets for 48 runs.
