Murray on form in Cincinnati

The world tennis number two Andy Murray got his North American hardcourt campaign back on track with a 6-2 6-3 win over the Russian Mikhail Youzhny to reach the last 16 of the Western and Southern Open in Cincinnati.

Murray, who had a slow start to the hardcourt season with a third-round loss in Montreal last week, is eager for serious tournament play in the leadup to the US Open later this month, when he'll be defending a grand slam title for the first time.

Many of the world's leading players enter the Cincinnati tournament as their final tuneup for the year's last major championship.
